The sleeve, it is done!
Yesterday, a little mind gaming, making promises to myself [nothing fancy, something like, 'finish that damn sleeve and you can make a sandwich'] and I cranked. it. out. Bound off. Needles free. Mind at ease.
Whew. I didn't try it on until today, when I drove down to Twist to visit Cathy and gloat about my one-armed sweater. Well, the interesting thing is that as much as I am done and over this sweater [and please, just want to be totally done and over this sweater!], since yesterday, I am feeling a wee bit inspired again. I don't know if it has anything to do with such a meager sense of accomplishment, but I'll take it.
While there, I got myself going on the second sleeve [with a little help from Rita, Cathy's assistant - who really just stood there talking to me while I picked up errant stitches and telling me it was okay]. I think I might be okay picking up stitches now! Waahoo!
Okay, and there was another reason for my visit - I had to pay for my SOCK CLASS! And buy more SOCK YARN!
Yay - Shi Bui. Gorgeous. Class starts in two weeks. I can't wait.
