Almost ready to rock & roll.

You guys crack me up. It's reassuring to know that I can be productive when I have to, but imagine what I'd get done if I could just crank this stuff out on a regular basis? Well, besides a workroom full of inventory, I'd probably have a major case of burn out, so it's probably a blessing that I'm so ADD and love me some procrastination. I guess that's what they mean by 'balance'? A little warped, no?

Maybags2

Here are those new bags - that turquoise, lime & brown reminds me one rare bird in particular, but I can think of so many people these patterns remind me of! Does that happen to you when you're creating? You make something, and the color just screams someone? I have a customer who loves Pink Posy, and I know she'd die over that pink & green deal up there. [I hope she visits this weekend! Note to self: might need to send out a little local reminder.]

I still have to roll & tie the rest of those lavender liners, but I think I'm going to find a movie on DirecTV and sit my butt down for a bit for that job. And of course, there's tomorrow night, when I would normally be fretting over my wardrobe for the weekend [everyday is a fashion challenge for me], where I'll be packaging. Scott's home tomorrow, and I'll put him to work getting out all the props and tables. He's good at that stuff.

Speaking of my dear Scott - yesterday was our 19th wedding anniversary! NINETEEN YEARS! We did the extra math [because we like to add] - we dated for 8 years and were friends for 3 - that's 30 years! THIRTY YEARS!

But that's not the scary part. The scary part was that we both mentioned the same exact thing in our cards to each other; meeting in Mr. Lowry's math class at Miraleste High School all those years ago. Dudes, that must be what happens after 30 years! Crikey. Does that mean we're going to start wearing matching outfits?
