Thrift Thursday...*sigh*...more vintage jewelry
How fun is this? It's all one necklace of faux pearl & gold tone chain - joined together at the ends. I. Love. It. $12 at Second Time Around (consignment shop) in Torrance. I also bought another [big fat] faux necklace, but we'll hold off on that until the outfit is right.
Oh, and the outfit? How about a Wardrobe Remix?
Stripey top: Gap
Babydoll sweater: Target
Jeans: Jagg
Shoes: Dansko - my old, old, old ones!
Ring: can't see, but it's an amazing Murano big glass band that my mom brought back from Italy last summer. I'm always afraid I'll smash it.
Earrings: favorite reworked vintage from Ornamental Things
Oh, what the heck...here's an earring detail:
You can't see them very well because they were swinging as I tried to beat the camera. But I love Natalie's reworked vintage jewelry.
The babydoll sweater up there I actually bought to rework. I was planning to add some embroidery and maybe lace to the sleeves. I'm in the middle of another rework right now that I hope to share next week. Fun stuff, that reworking.
More Thrift Thursday here!

Carrie, I love that whole outfit! I think that sweater from Target is great. Don't you just love that place?
I've got a necklace that is a lot like that. It belonged to my Great-Grandmother. It is broken right now and I need to figure out a way to repair it. Thanks for the inspiration!

I love the outfit! Did you buy that sweater this year? I really hope the answer is yes, because I think I need that sweater... :)

You're definitely pulling off the whole long, blousy, tunicy dress over jeans thing quite nicely. And your jewelry is lovely as well.
